Tony Robbins is one of the worlds leading self help gurus. A lot of his teachings focus on first mastering the internal in order to have success externally. Over his 40 year career to date he has successfully attracted millions of followers from around the world.

He is also a savvy entrepreneur and manages several business that total revenue of over a billion dollars a year.

Here’s what he says about the best way to start the day in an interview with Business Insider:

Tony's routine can be summarised into 3 key parts:

1. A period of 5 minutes spent priming the body through a series of seated excercises

2. A period of 3 minutes spent focusing on things that you are grateful for

3. A period of 3 minutes spent focusing on imagined successes or challenges to overcome.
